1. Who is responsible

Alpine Luxury Stays, owned by Lysbet de Boer, Amsterdam, The Netherlands (KvK 98195360), is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at lysbet@alpineluxurystays.com or on +31 6 43 29 03 90.

2. Which data we process and why

When you use the contact form, we process the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the location of your chalet and your message. We use these only to answer your enquiry and to discuss a possible cooperation. When you introduce yourself as a local partner, we process your name, contact details, type of service and the information you share about yourself, for the same purpose.

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the details you share in that conversation.

3. Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent (you tick the box before sending the form), and to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the processing that took place before.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep your details for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any cooperation that follows, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer, for example for tax records.

5. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We use the following service providers who process data on our behalf:

The contact form is processed on our own web hosting and delivered to our mailbox. Microsoft 365 (Outlook) hosts our email. mijn.host hosts this website. These parties only process data as needed to provide their service. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this happens under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

If you choose a time to meet through Calendly, your details are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. We only receive the details you enter there.

6. Cookies

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address may be sent to Google when you visit the site.

7. Security

The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To use these rights, email us at lysbet@alpineluxurystays.com. We will respond within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the data protection authority in your own country.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
